Lone Star Tick Survives Extreme Survival Tests by Rusty Cage Show
A content creator known as Rusty Cage Show conducted a 16-day experiment to test the resilience of a Lone Star tick. The tick survived being submerged in water for two weeks, deprived of oxygen for 24 hours, and placed inside a freezer for another 24 hours. After being warmed under a camera light following the freezing, the tick resumed moving and remained alive.
