The story
Harvard graduate Sam Pua has announced the launch of Project IV, an initiative bringing alumni and students from top global institutions to Cambodia this July to mentor local students. The program is designed to help participants navigate the study-abroad process, scholarship applications, and university admissions.
A decade after beginning her journey as a student from rural Cambodia, Pua earned a high school diploma from Aklan College, a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College, and a master's degree in education from Harvard. Drawing from her background, she aims to help the next generation of Cambodians achieve similar educational milestones.
Scheduled for this July, the initiative—also referenced as Project IOE—will bring students and graduates from institutions such as Harvard, Dartmouth, Northwestern, Kenyon, and Aiglon College to Cambodia. Designed to help attendees turn their ambitions into concrete plans within one week, the program offers guidance on admissions, scholarship acquisition, personal statements, test preparation, and standardized testing.
Registration is currently open with limited seats available under the program's slogan, "Turn your ambition into admission."
