Adventure Time Meme: Jake Reacts Like The Princess Bride Grandson

Adventure Time fans are in for a treat with this fun viral clip from Cartoon Network that puts Jake the Dog in a classic meme format — "The Grandson at the Ending of The Princess Bride."

The clip playfully mirrors the famous scene from the 1987 film The Princess Bride, where the grandson emotionally reacts after watching the story unfold. In this version, Jake — the lovable, stretchy dog from Adventure Time — delivers his own expressive reactions, including shouting "I'm not sick!" and enthusiastically cheering "Yeah!" alongside best friend Finn.

It's a lighthearted crossover moment that blends nostalgia for the beloved Rob Reiner classic with the cartoon energy of Finn and Jake's world in the Land of Ooo. Adventure Time continues to air on Cartoon Network.

What the sources say

The content mainly describes a lighthearted meme-style crossover clip featuring Jake from Adventure Time reacting in a format inspired by the grandson at the ending of the 1987 film The Princess Bride. There is no independent coverage found that specifically documents this viral clip, its dialogue, or its meme framing, so those descriptive claims are uncontested rather than corroborated. However, the statement that “Adventure Time continues to air on Cartoon Network” conflicts with independent sources noting that Adventure Time’s run ended after its ninth season, with the ending announced for 2018, meaning it is no longer an ongoing series in regular first-run broadcast.[2] Because this central broadcast-status claim is directly contradicted by available sources, the overall rating is red.
